Finovox, a French start-up specializing in the detection of false documents, today announced its seed fund raising of 1.9 million euros, led by Shapr Venture, SuperCapital, successful entrepreneurs such as Jérôme and Vanessa Proust, founder and board members of Glady (ex-wedoogift), and Christophe Henner, ex-president of Wikipedia and with the support of the BPI.

12.5 billion dollars in 2020: this is the loss incurred by banks linked to false documents. Identity theft, creation of fraudulent bank accounts, requests for loans or credits, illegal financial transactions... all fraud methodologies that continue to evolve with the development of tools and methods.

Finovox, a French start-up specializing in the detection of false documents, signs a new collaboration with PwC France, a major consulting, audit and legal and tax expertise firm. This cooperation aims to strengthen the documentary fraud detection capabilities of organizations supported by PwC France by using Finovox's advanced technology.

Detecting forged documents can be difficult because the appearance of the document may seem legitimate, but in reality, the document may be fake. With the increasing digitization of businesses, documents are more and more easily transferable, increasing the risks of falsification.
