We were able to chat with her and ask her all our questions. Challenges and objectives of Proxicare, path taken to achieve this panorama, advantages of artificial intelligence for a health and insurance consulting firm, find Hélène's answers in this article!

1- Could you introduce yourself and tell us what your responsibilities at Proxicare consist of?

Helene:
I am Helene, mission director at the house of Proxicare
My career has allowed me to acquire strong expertise in the health sector and billing flows. I have established relationships within our ecosystem with all stakeholders, whether institutional, industrial or technical (union, brand, complementary health insurance, healthcare networks, software publishers, etc.). My role consists of offering support in cross-functional areas such as innovation, strategy, management, transformation, program management and deployment of health services.

2- What was your professional background before arriving at Proxicare?

Helene:
I have accompanied various groups in the sector of health insurance and third-party payer, notably :

  • Several third-party paying operators
  • Startups specializing in the payment of non-Nomenclature flows and the data associated with the care pathway.
  • Suppliers of Digital Medical Devices (cardiac remote monitoring)
  • Supplementary health or insurtech
  • Federations representing complementary health insurance

3- Can you introduce us to Proxicare in a few words?

Helene:
Proxicare is a health expertise and consulting firm dedicated to supporting health and personal insurance players.
Today we support more than 80 customers and achieve more 300 missions daily.
Our goal is to generate a positive impact in the field of health!

4- What types of services and expertise do you offer as a consulting firm to health stakeholders?

Helene:
At Proxicare, we offer our expertise in several areas, including:

  • There strategy and innovation by developing the strategic vision of our clients and providing recommendations on partnership opportunities, positioning or services to be implemented
  • THE marketing and distribution by simplifying market access and designing offers and journeys according to the needs of our customers
  • THE digital and data by carrying out market studies, observatories, economic models and improving uses in particular thanks to tools using artificial intelligence
  • There operational transformation by carrying out organizational diagnostics, deployment of processes, pathways, tools and even training.

We deploy strong specific expertise in healthcare billing models.

5- Why did you choose to adopt artificial intelligence in your daily activities?

Helene:
Proxicare has chosen to create a support offer for its customers around AI on two axes:

  • The first axis concerns compliance with the regulatory requirements associated with AI ACT. We help our clients implement effective governance.
  • The second axis is associated with our historical areas: “What strategy should we adopt to deploy AI in companies effectively, covering marketing aspects, projects, up to operational implementation in the field? ”.

6- If you had to summarize, what are the main benefits and advantages linked to the use of artificial intelligence?

Helene:
Today, using artificial intelligence systems allows our customers to remain both competitive by optimizing their management costs and differentiating by improving and diversifying their customer offerings. This increases, de facto, experience and satisfaction users. On the other hand, I see another benefit, in terms of well-being and prevention, that of improving, simplifying and increasingly democratizing access to care!

7- How did you select the companies that you highlighted in this panorama linked to artificial intelligence?

Helene:
We selected companies on the basis of the different pathways that we had previously identified, that is to say the customer/employee journey, prevention and finally operational efficiency. During this selection, we also took into account the possible resonance between the companies and the needs of our clients as well as the existence in France of these companies.
Ultimately, it is rather a non-exhaustive illustration of the players in this market. It is intended to enrich itself and evolve over time of course!

8- Why did you decide to highlight Finovox during the morning presentation of your panorama? Are there elements or specificities that pushed you to include Finovox in this presentation?

Helene:
We decided to highlight Finovox for its positioning : fraud and control of management costs which are two major challenges for our complementary health clients.
Finovox was able to convince us by demonstrating the quality of its service through the increase in the number of its customers in 2023. Its economic model and its deployment process, at a time simple and fast, also seemed to us to be advantages worth promoting!
